St Cuthbert’s Swallet

Duration – 3 – 4 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.

Bean has very kindly arranged a number of Wardens for St Cuthberts.

For those who are not familiar with the cave, it is complex system and the second longest on Mendip.
It has a steep entrance series that leads to a multi-level network of passage, chambers and boulder ruckles.
The exact destination of each party will be agreed with the Wardens on the day and it should be possible to accommodate all levels of ability and experience.
No special equipment is required.
We will probably use the changing and shower facilities at the Belfry for which a £1 goodwill fee will be payable.
