Stock Hill Mine Cave
Duration 3 – 4 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
Stock Hill Mine Cave is a relatively new find on Mendip and currently consists of around 1.5km of passageway – some of which you can stand up in!
The aim of the trip will be to visit the highlights of both the upstream and downstream sections of the cave.
If anyone is really keen, we can also visit the current dig locations in the downstream section.
No special equipment is required and don’t bother bringing a camera.
