Longwood – Galleries and Streamway
Duration – 3 – 5 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
Longwood is an extensive cave in the Longwood valley. The aim of the trip will be to visit the upstream galleries and the downstream streamway.
The trip involves a few squeezes, a couple of ladder pitches along with an interesting traverse.
No special equipment is required, although a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitches.
Everyone will need a CCC permit (available on-line).
