Second Saturday

Two trips on offer this month, both with volunteer leaders.

Eastwater – Regent Street
Duration 3 – 5 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
Tim Rose (tim.rose2@gmail.com ) has kindly volunteered to lead a trip to Regent Street in Eastwater.
This is an interesting trip to a part of Eastwater that is not visited very often.
Please note that it is a fairly hard trip and involves a couple of moderate squeezes (although nothing tighter than Hallelujah Hole – which you’ll do on the way in).
No special equipment is required, although a belay belt is recommended for Dolphin pitch.
A goodwill fee is payable to the landowner (£2 per person).

GB – A visit to the Sump
Duration 2 – 3 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
Sas (Sarah Watson) has kindly volunteered to lead a somewhat easier trip to GB.
The route will include Mud Passage to the Bridge, through the oxbows and down to the main sump, returning via the waterfall in Main Chamber.
No special equipment is required but everyone will need a CCC permit (available on-line).
