Swildon’s – Northwest Stream Passage.
Duration – 4 – 5 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
This trip is to the infrequently visited Northwest Stream Passage in Swildon’s.
It is a moderately sporting trip involving passing through Sump 1, climbing the Landing and then tackling a few squeezes and ducks.
The aim would be to have a good look at Heaven and Hell passage. If time permits then we can also check out the Upstream Duck and Dip Tubes.
No special equipment is required, although a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitches and warm kit is recommended as it is a very wet trip.
A goodwill fee is payable to the landowner (£1 per person).
