Eastwater – Unlucky Strike and Mellow Chamber.
Duration – 3 – 4 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
Unlucky Strike and Mellow Chamber are relatively recent discoveries and nicely decorated chambers in the upper series of Eastwater.
They are approached by an interesting traverse and sporting climb up a narrow vertical tube.
No special equipment is required, although a belay belt is recommended for the climbs and ladder pitches.
A goodwill fee of £1 is payable at Eastwater farm.
