Mangle Hole

Duration – 3 – 4 hours.
Location – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00.
The seldom visited Mangle Hole, offers an interesting and sporting excursion.
It consists of a technical descent into a large chamber and the attractive Aldermaston Chamber in its lower reaches.
The cave will be rigged for both Ladder and SRT access. Hopefully it won’t be flooded this time!
Naturally a full SRT kit will be required if you want to descend / ascend using rope. Otherwise a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitches.
