Felix Trombe 2024 – SRT Training Camp 2

If you are planning to come out to the Felix Trombe this summer then why not join us at the Yorkshire Subterranean Society (YSS) for a SRT training / practice weekend?

This will be an ideal opportunity to brush up on your SRT skills and also meet some of the other Wessex members who will be going on the trip.

We will be staying at The Old School House in Helwith Bridge (BD24 0EH). It is booked for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and will cost £5 per person per night.

You will need to bring your own breakfast. We will probably have evening meals at the local pub (next door) or out in Settle.

Weekend activities may include options for:-
• Indoor SRT training
• Sell Gill exchange trip
• Jingling exchange trip
• Shuttleworth Pot
• Walking the 3-peaks (or maybe only 1 or 2 of them)
Other caving trips can be arranged, just let me know what you fancy doing.
