DESCRIPTION:Duration – 3 – 5 hours. \nLocation – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00. \nLongwood is an extensive cave in Longwood valley.\nThe aim of the trip will be to visit the upstream galleries and the downstream streamway.\nThe trip involves a few squeezes\, a couple of ladder pitches and an interesting traverse. \nNo special equipment is required\, although a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitches. \nEveryone will need a CCC permit (available on-line for free).
