DESCRIPTION:Wookey Hole – Land of Hope and Glory \nDuration – 3 – 4 hours. \nLocation – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00. \nAs it is Xmas\, Wookey Hole Show Cave and also the Wookey Hole diggers have given us permission to visit the recently discovered Land of Hope and Glory series. This lies beyond chamber 20 of the show cave and contains some impressively sized chambers and rifts. The trip does not contain any particular difficulties but be aware that it is quite a long trip and is not suitable for novices. \nVery generously\, Wookey are not charging us the normal access fee (£10 each) but instead have asked for donations to their current charity (the Air Ambulance). I will make a collection for this on the day. Numbers are limited so please email me (caving@wessex-cave-club.org) if you wish to attend. \nNo special equipment is required but everyone will need to show their BCA card as proof of insurance. \nMulled wine and mince pies will be available at Upper Pitts after the trip.
