DESCRIPTION:Tyning’s Barrows Swallet \nDuration – 3 – 4 hours. \nLocation – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00. \nTyning’s Barrows Swallet is an archetypal Mendip cave. Commencing with a series of ladders\, followed by some crawling and then a nice streamway. The aim of the trip will be get to the end of the cave (“A-Day”)\, with the option to do the Paton Place / White Dog Passage / Dragon Chamber round trip on the way out\, if time permits. \nNo special equipment is required\, although a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitches. \nA goodwill fee of £2 is payable to the landowner. \nIf you would like to attend please let me know (wayne@cuckoocleeves.uk) so we have an idea of numbers.
