DESCRIPTION:Swildon’s Hole – Short Round Trip \nDuration – 3 – 4 hours. \nLocation – Meet at Upper Pitts at 10:00. \nThe Short Round Trip in Swildon’s is one of the UK’s classic trips. If you’ve never done it before\, or are a little uncertain of the route\, here is your opportunity. This will be quite an aqueous trip involving a number of ducks and passing through Sump 1 at least once! \nNo special equipment is required\, although a belay belt is recommended for the ladder pitch and those who feel the cold may want to wear some neoprene. \nIn the event that the Mud Sump is not passable an alternative round trip will be done. \nA goodwill fee is payable to the landowner (£1 per person).
